ICP Delivers Redundant Head-End Equipment to Learfield Communications for New Digital Satellite Radio Broadcast Network.

Learfield Communications of Jefferson City, MO has taken delivery in October of the head-end equipment for their new satellite network.

The head-end equipment consisted of seven audio encoders, redundant TDM multiplexers and redundant satellite modulators. The equipment has been installed at the Learfield facility in Jefferson City and is currently undergoing live testing. Learfield will be taking delivery of 500 DCR-974 receivers for their affiliate stations. Delivery of all contract items is expected to be completed this year.
